Madagascar is an island nation located in the Indian Ocean off the southeastern coast of Africa. It is classified as the fourth largest island in the world! As of 2010, the population of Madagascar is estimated at around 20 million.
However 18 americans will not be headed to the populated part of Madagascar. As a result of the island's long isolation from other neighboring continents, Madagascar is home to a vast array of plants and animals, many found nowhere else on Earth. They will be forced to live with these animals and survive for 39 days. To make things more difficult they will have to outwit, outlast, and outplay the other 17 to take home the Title of Sole Survivor.
